This thesis focuses on the cognition of Chinese adaption of Montessori Education. Pivoting on ME’s impact on flexibility in social behaviour development of children, a research into the implementation of ME has been done by analyzing A(placeholder) early age childhood center with various methodologies applied, including case research, observation and interviewing, covering the teaching environment, teachers, equipment, and courses in A. Also, an analysis centralized by ME’s impact on children that how they behave in towards independence, activity, communication, and socialization are successfully carried out, in an attempt to find how ME improves children’s social flexibility development.The result shows that the same-aged Children who have received ME have better social development progress than those who haven’t received ME, which mainly shows in following teacher’s orders, behaviour self-control and the expression for self-emotion, etc. It is evident that commercial early childhood education is a very good supplement to conventional family education and institutional education programs.So this research is try to do more practical research on how the Montessori Education affect the development of children’s social behavior and provide some solid and valuable scientific evidence on how to encourage children’s social flexibility development.
