As a multination country, the cultural exchange and communication among different ethnic groups construct a pattern of diversity in Unity of China. However, follow the development of modernization, the disparities in ethnic cultures are smaller and smaller, and different cultures' distinctive features are dying out gradually. Meanwhile, ethnic cultural identification which follows the development of ethnic culture is changing widely. Ethnic cultural identification relates to the conservation and improvement of ethnic culture, but for some ethnic groups, their cultural identification is in danger. Some of them evade from the modern society and only identify their traditional culture; others discard their own culture but draw close to main culture. As an essential way of cultural popularization, education has a great influence on ethnic people's identification toward their own cultures and the main culture. The purpose of this study is to analyze ethnic students' cultural identification, explore how education affects ethnic cultural identification and disclose the importance of pluralistic-integrative education in ethnic region.Ethnic cultural identification is a topical subject on national research. The current research focuses on such problems as how is it formed and what are the factors, ethnic cultural identification with modernization and globalization. Although there are some researchers who have involved in this field, this article connects ethnic cultural identification to the pluralistic-integrative education for the first time. The author takes the cultural and anthropological researching ways-educational case study combining with questionnaire survey, interviewing survey and documentary survey in the research, and tries to find educational influence on ethnic cultural identification, and get some references for the implements of pluralistic- integrative education.It is found that most of the Bai students show active identification attitude on main culture and inactive attitude on Bai culture for cognition and behavior factors, but opposite attitude on emotion factor. In general, Bai students prefer main culture. It is considered that the cultural identification of Bai students is influenced by their education. It is a result of the integrative education which focuses on popularizing the main culture but ignores the ethnic cultures, and hasn't train students' cognition emotion and behavior on the ethnic side. To change the dangerous situation of ethnic culture identification, it is suggested to place pluralistic-integrative education, deliver not only the main culture but also the ethnic cultures...
