We are stepping into an age of dialogue, at which dialogue gradually becomes the main living form and also effective strategies for people to reach their goals. Dialogueal teaching is the echo of the time spirit of dialogue in the field of education. It reveals the teaching nature of dialogue, i.e., teaching, in essence, is the dialogue between others and ego. It is a teaching method as well as a teaching principle. Teaching through dialogue is the essential demand of social progress and development, as well as an inevitable result of educational development. Based on thorough understanding of Chinese Curriculum Criteria for Regular Compulsory Schools (experimental draft), this paper ventures to expound the connotation, meanings, characteristic, forms and implementing strategies of teaching Chinese through dialogue, borrowing the available results in this field and combing the characteristic of Chinese teaching. It aims to change the status quo of being less, slow, bad and useful in some Chinese teaching, explore a new principle of teaching Chinese readings in middle schools suitable for quality education and expound theoretically and practically the new topic of teaching Chinese reading in dialogue.
