Customer-centered theory is a kind of management pattern, including management ideology, management organization, management institution and management method. With the rapid development of market economy, it is not only the basic ideology in the field of enterprise management, but also an important problem in the other fields. The author try to introduce Customer-centered theory to university teaching management, on the basis of using literature method, questionnaire method, stating the meaning, survey the present situation, analyzing the reasons, put forward some strategies, in order to reply the higher demands of society, then promote the development of universities even the whole higher education.This research has theory basis and reality meanings. Customer-centered theory accord with the demands of university teaching management from philosophy, education, management and economy. It can improve education quality and the competitive ability of universities, protect the students rights, promote the efficiency of university teaching management.According to the research, in some degree, the present university teaching management departs from Customer-centered theory, such as, from the customers, students' multi-demands can not be satisfied; from the supplier, the attitude is not good enough. The reasons are as follows, service attitude is lack, the organization structure is not reasonable, the institution is rigid, the method drop behind.According to the reasons mentioned, the author put forward some suggestions from ideology, organization, institution and method. They are, setting up the ideology of students' subjectivity, establishing the organization system which is close to students, structuring the institution which is customer-centered, establishing customer information system.
