With the development of the reform of Chinese teaching in Junior high schools, the task-based approach in Chinese teaching has become popular. Meanwhile more and more educators and teachers have studied a lot on this approach including me.The task-based approach in Chinese teaching is a kind of teaching pattern as well as a kind of teaching attitude. It's different from but also has a lot in common with traditional and present popular teaching methods. It's beneficial to the students' all- round development by providing useful ways, enriching teaching system.The essential process of the task-based approach is to create the real situations first. Then teachers help to prepare for the activities. It's also necessary to make conclusions with the students after having the activities. We can design different lessons to improve students' learning skills, teach them ways to solve problems and exert a favorable influence on them.We can design a variety of activities in reading, such as activities at the beginning of each lesson, activities in homework, activities in composition teaching, etc. Besides this, the improvement of approach and method of evaluation can promote students' Chinese study.Chinese learning and teaching is not only in classes. It's helpful to make good use of different resources—natural resources, social resources and school resources. Students will be more interested and capable in Chinese learning if we can develop these resources.
