| Harmonious personality is an important and stable behavioral disposition which embodies the individual internal active, integrative balance, and moderates the external relationship between individual and others, society and nature. It is not only healthy integrative psychological personality, but also ideal personality which can interact with moral wisdom and aesthetic appreciation. Taking it into consideration that China is striving to construct a harmonious society nowadays, it is necessary for people to have harmonious personalities. Harmonious personality should be the goal of college students, because they are latent backbones in the construction of China. However, there are many obstacles in developing the harmonious personality. First is the negative influence from moral education. Science-orientation exaggerates the moral rational pursuit, benefit-orientation gives up the "should" goal of moral education, and ignorance of China traditional moral culture leads to the low efficiency in education domain. Second is the problem about student personality. Instrumental ration thinking induces "single face" personality, and some other problems such as emptiness and meanness in spirit field, separation of moral knowledge and moral behavior, lack of mental health and personality, ignorance of the good relation with other and society. Developing students' harmonious personality needs the effective guide in moral education. So, some actions should be taken for moral education in university as followed, such as building up the "caring" relationship, fostering healthy emotion the mental world for students, advocating the "I and you" dialogue view, forming the moral atmosphere for personality development, inheriting "Zhonghe" idea, pursuing the harmony by moral wisdom, learning from "Confucius figural virtue", promoting the student personality level in the Poeticized moral life, integrating school moral resources and guiding the development of student harmonious personality. |
