At present vocational education has developed quickly in China and formed the competence-centered theory. However, Influenced by traditional line of thought, the vocational school pay more attention to profession instead of quality and pay more attention to education instead of moral education. So it weakened and humanism education in vocational college, especially in Chinese education which has got into an embarrassing situation. But during the development of vocational education, people increasingly get to know the importance of humanism. Compared with technology, they belong to different system. If we don't value them equally, it will lead to terrible result. Education can't go without humanism. Strengthening humanism as well as mastering professional skill has become a general trend of present vocational education. As the basic subject of humanism quality education, Chinese must be put more emphasis on. This thesis will center on the current Chinese teaching situation in vocational college, its causes and solution. Furthermore, the thesis will deal with this problem from four aspects: the relationship between vocational education and Chinese teaching; the learners'problems and solution; Combining with the current situation in vocational college to exert the advantage of Chinese teaching and adopt proper teaching methods; the value orientation of Chinese teaching in vocational college.
