Since long ago, research of physics teaching in our country mainly places emphasis on the theory of physics teaching about middle school or the university and the attention is on research of the teaching theory of the two different stages. Although a part of experts and scholars realized the importance of the physical teaching engagement research during various stages, but the paper of teaching engagement research is very few, especially in the area of research between the middle school and university physics.The teaching engagement is a question which the lower grade student of university and teacher must face. Regardless of the student or teacher, it will affect seriously student's studying,work and living if they can not do well with it. In the actual teaching area, what content of the teaching engagement mainly is, how the studing engagement of lower grade student's that specializing physics is , how the university students complete the studying engagement by themselves, how teacher should promote university student's study engagement ,and whether the education of university could promote student's studing engagements and raise the high quality talented person and so on.All of the questions are worth to pay attention for each university physics teacher and educating researcher. Obviously teaching engagement research between the middle school and the university physics plays vital role in university's physical education and raising talented person.This article used the literature analytic method,the survey procedure,mathematics method to carry on the investigation and the analysis the situation of the teaching engagement between middle school and the university physics at present. The field of investigation specialized in university student's studying in three physics universitys at the northern Jiangsu area. In this foundation, we proposed some suggestions of how to promote physics study engagement under the physical education background now. The paper work is as follows:Firstly, we do the research of literature investigation and discuss research direction,the content which the teaching studies as well the content which has not involved that has been done.Secondly, through forms of questionnaire and interview, we carried on the investigation of the situations of student's studying and the tecching of techer in the three universitys at northern Jiangsu area and the comparison with the present situation in middle school. Then we used the psychology principle, the pedagogy principle as well as the education statistics inference method to discusse the difference of studying and teaching between middle-school and the universitys.Finally, we proposed some suggestions to insufficiency in the engagement question of the education for the university student and teacher.
