The Impact Of Digital Media On The Development Of China's Primary And Secondary Art Education

In our times of today, the digital information technology is showing its influence in almost every corner of the world. From science research to daily life, you can hardly find a field which can get new development without depending on the digital technology's support, nor does the field of fine arts education. Facing this kind of situation, how to recognize the influence of digital media on primary painting education, how to make full use of the digital media technology and the profound resources, and how to properly deal with innumerable vision information, all these questions are the topics that painting education research can't avoid. This paper just comes out in this background of fast developing digital and information technology, and the author think it will be helpful in recognizing the function and power of the digital media in the field of primary fine arts education.The basic purpose of fine arts education doesn't lie in the painting itself, but in cultivating the creation ability of the pupils to adapt themselves in the changing future lives of the 21century. In this globalizing context, the digital information technology is developing enormously, and the education ideas and educating means are experiencing changes and development affected by this technology. It is a urgent and significant project to research on how to make better use of the digital media technology in improving our fine arts education system.
