With the reform of curriculum, developing the students' ability of mathematicsthought is paid closer attention to. However, as the teachers of mathematics, how dowe conduct the students to take actively part in thinking in the course of mathematicsteaching? "The core of mathematics education is that teachers set up suitableconditions to make students learn to create some mathematics knowledge throughtheir practice and modes of thinking in learning mathematics (H. Frendenthal). Theconditions are the situations of teaching mathematics which teachers set up in class."Therefore, setting up the effective question situations is a feasible way of developingthe students to participate in the thinking of mathematics.On the basis of the practice of teaching the author of the article discusses away of setting up the effective question situations in order to develop the students toparticipate in emotion, behavior and thinking, form the model of "question-situation".At the same time, the author states requirement of setting up the effective questionsituations. Under the conduct of teaching principles which include the nature ofconflict, estimating the students' ability, construction and inquiry teaching, theauthor states some question situation strategies which involve in the characters ofinterest, activity, oppugn and exploration. In addition, the author indicates that theirability and quality of teaching will be improved when the teachers set up theeffective question situations. In the thesis, the author suggests that setting up theeffective question situation is not only involved in the students' emotion, but thestudents' behavior, particularly in their thinking. How to conduct the students to raisequestions is a key factor in the course of the teaching of the question situations.Therefore, in mathematics teaching, teachers should not only pay attentionto setting up the suitable situations, but change their attitude to asking questions andimprove their level of conduct in the mathematics teaching.
