The merging of universities in China in 90th was another large-scale reform on higher education since the adjustment of colleges and departments in 50th, The motive of merger was to change the unfitted college distribution and too specialized educating mode and to improve educating quality and efficency. As the merger itself is innovation and no experience can be followed, the traditional abuse and the new questions emerged.So they can only be settled by integration, and form a new administrative system.Mergence as researching background, using educational economy theory, resource basic theory and management efficiency theory, this article discussed and analized the integration after university mergence in the respect of theory and practice. First, the article gave a general explanation of the research intention and method, briefly mentioned the present research fruit and different opinions. Second, the article explained the related conceptions and theory on university mergence, analized the reasons and the motives and typical questions. The third, the article studied the processes of merging and integration, created the integrating mode. This model vividly demestrated that the essence of the process of mergence is to shift from the process of skill and source to a new competitive advantages and refining efficiency. The fuorth,From course integration, organization integration, human source integration and cultural integration It formed the integrating patterns, and also came up with related tactics. At last, this article put the related theories, models and patterns mentioned above into the practice of mergence and integration of Chang Sha University of Science and Technology and has made great references and effects.
