With the arrival of the world's economic globalization,the social division of labour in many industries tends to meticulousness and cooperation,which has a much higher demand for talents'cooperative ability.As a result, cooperative learning revived in the USA in the 1970s and became very popular in a short time.In the face of the times'requirement, our country has started the fresh curriculum reform,which aims to change the common learning methods of simplification and passivity at present and initiates the new learning methods of independence,cooperation and inquiry.Although a lot of Chinese teachers have been probing into its different approaches, cooperative learning, on the whole, is still in its beginning stage.Therefore,referring to the practical experience,I'm trying to put theory into practice and seeking the teaching strategies of the cooperative learing combined with biology teaching of senior schools.Instructed by its basic principles and methods, cooperative learning in biology,in the light of its specific features, is a kind of learning activity which guides students to study collaboratively in heterogeneous groups,thus promoting students' development in cognition,emotion and personality.The pratice indicates that the development of cooperative learning in biology teaching of senior schools contributes a lot to arousing students' learning emotions,balancing students' development of four learning styles and improving students'scores in school work,especially for the students who have great difficulty in learning. Besides, it increases students' confidence, eases students' anxieties towards social communication and improves their cooperative skills.
