On base of the theories of aesthetic education ,especially the theories of modern pedagogy and educational psychology ,this paper firstly explores the theoretic basis and sense of the aesthetic education in history teaching;Maxism's theory about full-scale development of men is the philosophic basis;Miles'theory about demand is the phychology basis of aesthetic education;Education must agree with men's development in boby and soul as well as the development in society ,which is the pedagogy basis of aesthetic education;Scientific research achievements on brain–poly-intelligence theory by Howard supply our country's quality education with theory basis ;Aesthetic education is one of the basis tasks of history teaching ,and history teaching is a major way of performing aesthetic education .It is not only possible but also necessary to carry out aesthetic education ,and this is very important for training persons of abilities of morality,intelligence ,physique,art and labor for socialistic modernzation construction .On base of that ,and by means of theory analysis and teaching practice ,the author inquires the contents of aesthetic education in history teaching and basic principles,teaching methods and evaluating system in aesthetic education.Aesthetic education in history teaching includes social ,natural and artistic branches.The forms of aesthetic education contain graceful,magnificent ,tragic and comedic ones.Aesthetic education in different forms and different fields has different features,Values and regularities .The principles of aesthetic education in history teaching should follow the regularity of history teaching and the fundamental demands of aesthetic education.In order to carry out aesthetic education in history teaching and establish a cubic,feasile operating system of aesthetic education ,We need to set up appealing teaching aims of history,excavate graceful .contents of history teaching,optimize teaching methods,form fine relationship between the two subjects,develop beautiful speech and mold good personalities of s.student Finally,in the part of the existing problems and prospects for the future about aesthetic education in history teaching ,the author states that aesthetic education in history teaching should follow these principles:both par taking and experiencing ,both inspiring and directing ,both teaching students in accordance with their aptitude and advancing in regular order. Students should be taught to establish right aesthetic standards.Teaching evaluation about aesthetic education in history should focus on students,by means of obsenvation ,questionnaire,investigation,conversation,discussion,homework,documents,self-evaluation,parents-evaluation,and so on.the author mainly refer to three kinds of literature:the first one is about education,teaching and phycholigy,such as"pedagogy"by Wang Daojun and Wang HanLan,"teaching theories"by Li Bingde;The second one is about history teaching,such as"History lessons and teaching theories"by Nie Youli;The third one is about aesthetic and aesthetic education ,such as"Principles of aesthetic"by Yang Xin and Gan Lin,"Theories of aesthetics education"by Du Wei.The resesrch in aesthetics by education and experts at all times and in all countries offer the auther the rationale and valuable reference and bring the author the enlightenment in performing research on aesthetic education in history teaching.
