Subjective Evaluation Of The Quality Of Life Of Rural Residents

In recent years, under the instruction of scientific development view, China comes to the new period of overall construction of well-off society. "Make human being the center" is becoming the first direction of development. The development of society is gradually changing from"take the ecomomical growth as the center"to"take person's full scale development as a center". To improve quality of life continuously is one of the core contents of human being development. China is a country with large agriculture, and the harmonious development of whole society can not get away from the development of village society, so china is making effort to push the construction of socialistic new village forward. To improve the life quality of village residents has great relations to stability and development of whole society, which is also the important content of socialistic new village construction, so researching the life quality of village residents has great realistic significance.This research takes Jiangsu province as an example, in which three areas such as Suzhou, Nantong, Lianyungang were selected to be investigation region of sample. Based on the questionnaire survey of village residents'life quality, it uses SPSS14.0 and SAS9.0 which are two kinds of software for statistics and analysis. It applys analysis methods including descriptive statistics analysis, related analysis, crosstable analysis, partial least square regression analysis, compare means analysis, one-way ANOVA analysis, factor analysis etc. to deeply analyse the life quality of village residents and its subjective appraisal.The paper is divided into seven parts. In the first part, it begins with the background of research, and then puts forward the research subject, research purposes, research methods and the frame of research. In the second part, it defines the concept of life quality, summarizes and comments on domestic and international concerning literature of life quality, which forms the theories foundation of the following investigation. In the third part, it designs the research, including questionnaire design, research assumption, investigate implement, analysis method and so on. In the fourth part, with the total sample, it describes various factors which influent quality of life, including the economy income, saving and consumption, housing and environment, traffic condition, culture education, leisure life, medical treatment and health, right and position etc.. In the fifth part, it using correlation analysis method to analyse the relation between life quality of village residents and other influential factors; and applys partial least square regression analysis method to analyse the influence degree of those factors which impact the life quality of village residents. It concludes that all this correlative factors such as economy income have effect on life quality of village residents; In addition, with ANOVA analysis, it proves that the subjective evaluation of life quality is different among different age groups, culture groups and status groups. In the sixth part, it uses means comparision analysis and factor analysis to compare the subjective evaluation of village residents among three areas in Jiangsu province; it sorts three areas on the subjective evaluation of life quality to Suzhou, Nantong and Lianyungang by desending. In the last part, it draws a conclusion based on above paragraphs, and puts forward several suggestions to improve the life quality of village residents.
