The idea"A healthy body creates a comfortably-off life"has stricken root in the hearts of the people ever since the great aim of"Build a well-off society in all-round way"was set in the 16th National People's congress of the Party. However, in the real life, the concepts and the present condition of physical education among middle-aged people are far from satisfying. It's suggested in data that the middle-aged group is the"low frequency zone"in China's sports population. According to the structure of sports population, there are more males than females in every 5-year age group. So it's obvious that the proportion that middle-aged females'attendance of physical exercises is remarkably low. In view of their own peculiarity, the middle-aged females in 45-55 age group are also facing the inevitable natural law that their physical functions are gradually declining. Therefore, whether we can establish scientific awareness of keeping fit and master reasonable methods in order to postpone the function decline of the middle-aged females, has become one of the main contents of their health condition researching in the nationwide body-building plan.National aerobics is the outcome of national traditional dance development, with the characteristics of various nationalities and the bright breath of times. It is the perfect combination of fork dance and aerobics, which makes us beautiful and strong. As a newly-emerging body-building project, it attracts most women for its distinctively national and recreational peculiarities. However, it doesn't bring noticeable results to popularize the national aerobics because people know little about the project due to the lack of evidence on its healthy value and choose their body-building events according to their interests and health condition. After comparative analysis on the indexes of forms, function, body and mental health fore-and- aft 25 weeks of national aerobics exercise with 45-55 volunteer women as objects in yintong and hezuo road communities, this study drew the following conclusions: 1 ) national aerobics can delay or even alter the body shape transformation: less weight, thinner waist and hip by P<0.01, with good effect on shaping body and losing weight. 2 ) national aerobics can reduce blood pressure efficiently and delay the cardiovascular system degradation of the middle-aged females and can better their respiratory system obviously.3 ) national aerobics can slow down the limbs'sport degeneration of the middle-aged females and maintain the active work of the motion & balance organs as well as the muscular tissue &joints, at the same time can strengthen obviously the function of cerebral cortex and sensitize the action of nerves.4 ) national aerobics is good for mental health of middle-age females: social sensitivity, depression, anxiety were reduced by P<0.01 via national aerobics.In a word, the aim of the study was to offer experimental proof for middle-aged females to select the appropriate body-building event and be of help for the popularization of Fitness for All Plan.
