For quite a long period of time, we looked on mathematics just as a tool, andignored its cultural value. As a result, teaching mathematics has the only purpose, testsand high scores. With the announcement of new curriculum in 2003, we shouldenhance the value of cultural teaching.This thesis mainly clarifies the content of mathematics, based on others'understanding of the culture of mathematics. It emphasizes on the influences of humanbehaviors, thoughts, attitudes and spirits. The value of its culture acts in many ways,such as knowledge, thought, spirit and beauty, which are mainly concerned in thisthesis.There is a kind of thought, which thinks math teaching is the culture teaching. Ondeep survey of the current teaching, I realize that it's a topic worth considering by eachmath teacher. The thesis mainly stresses on the following aspects: 1. various teachingmethod in teaching 2. vivid actions of some topics 3. suitable math thoughts accordingto different teaching contents 4. interactions between different subjectsThe culture of mathematics has arisen great attention as a key concern in the studyof international mathematics education. However, it hasn't been fully implemented intodaily teaching with the limits of our atmosphere and teachers. We should make deepstudy of the cultural teaching.
