| This research used the method of physiological burden index to make a comparison of the indices between twenty-six Shaonianquan elective classes and nineteen required physical education classes of grade six boys in Shanghai Rongyi Middle school, and used the moment synthetic method to determine changes of the body centre of gravity during a 21 seconds bout of Shaonianquan exercise for further implementation of Shanghai Physical Education and Fitness Course Standard and for improvement of teaching quality of Shaonianquan classes.Results show that:1.The physiological burden indexes of Shaonianquan elective classes is 1.46±0.12 (x|- ±S), which is quite similar to that of physical education classes with the exponent of gym required courses (1.49±0.27).2.The physiological burden indices of preparation part, basic part and end part of the Shaonianquan elective classes are 1.37±0.13,1.50±0.13 and 1.37+0.24 respectively.3.The shifted-downward value of body centre of gravity is -5.4+20.9cm (t=1.039, P > 0.05 ) ,the sum about differences of the shifted body centre of gravity values between the two adjoining movement 0±32.0cm (t=0, P > 0.05) ,and the sum about practical differences of the shifted body centre of gravity values between the two adjoining movement 23.2+21.6cm (t=5.582, p < 0.01) ,and the range of change of the centre of gravity about 98.9cm, a vertical distance between centre of gravity and ground from 24.7cm to 123.6cm during the exercise.The following conclusions are drawn:1. Four months' physiological burden of the Shaonianquan physical education classesbelongs to the middle rank of exercise load which is suitable for the 6th grade boys topractice.2.According to the structure of physical education class, the arrangement of exercise load from Shaonianquan elective classes is strictly kept to the rules of the changes of the physical function of boys'body.3.Body centre of gravity does not significantly shift downward, but movement fluctuate furiously within a large range in a bout of Shaonianquan exercise.4.A developing style of teaching content based on both Wushu basic movements and total Shaonianquan movements is a major factor in keeping boys' moderate physiological burden during Shaonianquan classes, and deserves to be further practiced. |
