As research on Job security became popular overseas, more and more people inChina feel the job insecurity but few study concern these areas, this dissertation try tostudy job security's conception, the most importance thing——threaten of job security,and consequences of job security (especially organizational commitment, intention toleave).This research interviewed parts of people from different kinds of corporations,summarized the job security's conception is: powerless of unwilling to job or jobfeatures. Using the methods of interview and survey in large scale, the author of thispaper adopted SPSS Principal Component Analysis and T-test analyzed model of jobsecurity's threaten, it involves: career progress, teamwork, income/well-being and jobstability. In the experiment, 6 groups of the individuals are showed 6 groups ofmastery, the results shows that the causes of job security can significant affect jobsecurity. The author also found that, the factor of job stability can significantly affectorganizational commitment, including identity commitment and attachmentcommitment, but exchange commitment don't, intention to leave neither. The factorof career progress can't significantly affect organizational commitment, intention toleave neither.The innovations of this paper are as the first research on job security inGuangdong China. The author bring forward the conception of job security, analyzethe causes of job security(including 4 factors),at last, analyze the relation between jobsecurity and organizational commitment, intention to leave. Some of these results aredifferent from researches overseas. The relation between organization commitment,intention to leave depend on different threatens of job security.
