Independent college was produced in our country in the 1990s,with particularity and complexity,it does not belong to public colleges and private colleges,but it exists close combination with the two.As a newborn university organization,Independent college need to conduct a certain amount of human resource management.And independent college counselors play an important role in independent college, they are not only significant human capital,but also the bond between college teachers and students.Therefore,it’s necessary to understand their developmental status and working situation.Among them,measuring organizational commitment of employee’s loyalty to the organization and reflecting employee’s departure intention about whether they have the will of staying at the same organization can embody the emotional attitude and working condition of the independent college counselor better,what’s more,those are also the important aspects that an organization understand the employees’thinking trend in the process of management.In order to explore the relationship between organizational commitment and departure intention of the independent college counselor,based on literature reading and arrangement,this study investigated part of the independent college counselors of Zhejiang province,mainly in the form of delivering questionnaire,and supplemented by interview method.Research conclusions are:First,the organizational commitment of independent college counselor is over the medium level,but the departure intention is at a low level,there is a markedly negative correlation relationship between them;Second,in the influence of the organizational commitment of the independent college counselors to the departure intention,the ideal commitment’s effect is the greatest,the rest is normative commitment,economic commitment,opportunity commitment in turn.The influence of the emotional commitment does not exist;Third,organizational commitment of the independent college counselors in demographic variables of "monthly income" and "working ages" are different,departure intention of the independent college counselors’difference in the demographic variables are mainly in the "monthly income", "working ages", "ages", "marital status" and "whether buy house or not"Organizational commitment and departure intention of independent college counselors have certain difference in the demographic variables,especially these independent college counselors whose working ages are below two years,their organizational commitment is comparatively low,while their departure intention is relatively high.So,it’s essential to strengthen the management of new employees.As for five dimension of organizational commitment,ideal commitment has enormous effect on departure intention of independent college counselors,which is associated with the management and school system of independent college,but in the continuous development and adjustment process,independent college should further define and specify.
