Advanced professional education colleges have made a great progress after a few yeas, but the systematic deviation of the quality of cultivating talented person from the social demand is the major contradiction arises in the rapid development of Chinese higher vocational education. Solving the problem from the perspective of curriculum model has great importance to reform and develop the curriculum model of advanced professional education colleges. Based on extensive search for data, in-depth investigations and studies, grasp of essential laws of higher vocational education, historical retrospection of the development and application of curriculum model of higher vocational education in and abroad, relying on practice and exploration of higher vocational education which is now being carried through in the author' s college and other related colleges, the curriculum model of advanced professional education colleges is researched helpfully.Firstly, this thesis comprehensively summarize the conceptions, fundamental attributes and restrictive factors of higher vocational education' s curriculum model, and the main higher vocational education' s curriculum models in and abroad and analyses the characteristics of each model are respectively introduced. Secondly, based on the above analysis this thesis begins with project curriculum model' s evolvement history and related conceptions, and then systematically explains project curriculum model' s system structures, connotation elements and basic characteristics, and the project curriculum model' s theory framework is presented. Finally, this thesis summarizes project curriculum model' s development principles and processes, and in detail introduces the method system of every process including task analysis, development of curriculum system structure, development of the curriculum' s contents and teaching materials. Then, the teaching practice suggestions and the further research issues and reform tasks of the project curriculum are proposed.This thesis intends to find the exploration direction of higher vocational education' s curriculum model which accords with teaching laws and embodies the Chinese characteristics. The project curriculum Presented is on behalf of the development direction of Chinese higher vocational education' s curriculum model in grasping higher vocational education' s connotation, embodying the characteristics of higher vocational education and according with the situation of China, etc. It is worth exploring, researching and extending.
