Player's transaction means the behavior and result that professional player transfers from one club to another.With the development of professional club, the transaction gradually becomes an international convention. International sport federations of different items also bring it into their rules and regulations.The transaction can improve the level of the league matches, promote the development of the club as well as guarantee the interest of the team and player and make the strength of different teams keep balance. It is also the security of keeping the balance of human resources. How to make the regulation and market of our professional basketball player's transaction become more standardized, rationalized and legalized is the main task of CBA.The paper adopts methods of documentation, expert interview, questionnaire survey , SPSS and comparison etc. to analyze the current situation of CBA player's transaction, the transaction market and agent of transaction ( the basketball manager ) in detail.Through the comparison with that of NBA, the author tries to find out the problems existing in the transaction market of CBA, discusses the factors that influences the transaction market so as to put forward the improving advice for CBA in the background of the transition from planned economy to market economy.The results show:1.The main transaction of CBA players is domestic transaction, domestic temporary transaction, Hong-Kong, Macao and Taiwan transaction and international transaction. The regulations of transaction are not standard, It can not meet the need of the reform of professional basketball, thus baffle the players'usual transaction on objective.2.CBA professional player's transaction market is relatively mature, the main form of introducing both foreign players and domestic players is U-select form, however the transaction abroad of domestic players is mainly undertaken by basketball agent.3 . The modern significance basketball manager appears only several years in our country ,Currently there are 14 registered basketball agents in CBA, the quantity and quality of most of them could not meet the needs of players'transaction.4. The main factors that influences transaction of CBA player's are:insufficiencies of juvenile basketball players which creates the top athlete supply and demand not to be balanced ; immaturity of transaction rule which make the player can not usually translate ;lack of high qualified agents ; the clubs being not the main body of the market and restriction of our basketball management system.
