College Educational Technology centers are important strength in China's Educational Innovation. With short history, most of them are the results of reform of the Audio Visual Education Centers. Their functions, organizational culture and departments set-up are standing the test of practice,demonstrating features such as diversified tasks and functions, vague attribute and disequilibria between the development of centers from different parts of China, etc. Only a few articles found in magazines have made research on the reform of college Educational Technology centers, most of which are from a macroscopic view.As a theory and method of solving problems, Performance Technology provides me with a tool for studying the reform of college Educational Technology centers. Taking Educational Technology Center of M University as an example, the author explores the reform of it from the angle of performance. Through performance analysis, the author set performance objectives for M educational Technology Center; and according to following the results of interventions implemented in practice, The author make evaluation on its efforts of performance improvement, which turns out to be effective and successful at the present stage.The case study of M Educational Technology Center tells that performance technology can be utilized in Colleges as well, while the setting of performance objectives and the implementation of interventions should concern the institution features that Colleges have.
