The senior information technology course is now facing unprecedented shocks as developing informationlized social, substantive change should be made in information course teaching and learning methhods. Cooperative learning, which is a new teaching mode helpful to students comprehensive development, has been attentioned and studied in information technology education. Task based teaching is a teaching mothod fitting well with information technology teaching. In this article, the cooperative learning and task based teaching are combined seeking more effective cooperative learning methods.Information technology education status and features of the course under background of the 8th basic education course evolution are introduced in first part of the article, and it is also emphosized that the total objective of information technology education is improving student quality in information technology. The cooperative learning is a new learning mothod echoes well with the objective and the new course standards. Information technology teachers are trying to organize cooperative learning in class. Improving cooperative learning effenciency in information technology course is a problem to be solved.In the second part, Task Based Learning and Cooperative Learning are detailed described and their theory basis are discussed. Task based Learning is a learning method based on Constructivism. The teacher design course task with knowledge to be learned, by which to achieve the objective that students master knowledge by complete the task. While in solving task, the students analyze task, raise questions and study plan to solve the questions, and finally achieve the objective through practice. The cooperative learning means all relative acts during cooperation of students in form of groups, maximizing all learning achievements to achieve common learning objective under certain incentive mechanism.In the third part, it is pointed out that Cooperative Learning based on task-driving is studied in this article. The advantage of this Cooperative Learning method is noted, then proceed in course design, finally the Cooperative Learning based on task based teaching, role of teacher in the mode are also clarified.The fourth part focused on Action Research in information technology teaching practice. Two parts of textbooks suitable for Cooperative Learning are selected for research in the two periods. In the first period, cooperative manner of competative in groups are adopted with objective of completing contest topic. In the second period, group achievements are showed as piece of work encircling topic of completing a complex open task. The study will seek application effects and existent problems of Task Based Learning in Cooperative Learning process in information technology class, sum up existent study achievements and discuss manner of improving student's interest on Cooperative Learning, building up student's cooperative consciousness and raising Cooperative Learning effeciency. Manner of leading students through Cooperative Learning in information technology class with new textbooks are also studied.Cooperative Learning based on task based teaching, which is of great important meaning of consulting to carrying out cooperative learning in senior information technology, is worth study in-depth.
