The achievement motivation is an important social motivation. It has great impetuses to peoples working and studying. Consider from the individual, the achievement motivation is the important quality of the social life of adaptation which a person forms gradually in the socialized course. It is modem's main desire and psychological mechanism that can encourage the self-fulfillment and enterprising spirit. It is also the key factor that determines whether a person's undertaking succeeds or not. From Murray, Achievement motivation has become a stage on which psychologists exert their wisdom and energy. There are a variety of theories about achievement motivation; here we only take some representative and typical ones as samples.This research mainly carries on the measurement of achievement motivation of 259 middle school teachers in Qingdao. It will offer the foundation to the further investigation of the achievement motivation of middle school teachers.Through the positive research, I have carried on research on following respects:1. Carry on the questionnaire investigation of 259 middle school teachers in Qingdao by using AMS. And draw the result that there are differences between the ages, sex and professional post. etc.2. According the theoretical and practical experiences, we explore the reasons of the differences.3. According the consequence of our work, we offer the some advice on how to cultivate and encourage middle school teachers'achievement motivation.
