Economic growth and employment are the two major indicators of national macroeconomic, also the vital interests of the government and the public. In recent years, China's economy has maintained an average over 8 percent growth rate, but the employment situation of college students' continuous getting worse, the unemployment of college students has become an increasingly serious social problem. This problem not only indicates that contradiction between supply and demand of human resources, discord of education and social development, but also means that huge investment obtain no returns of country and family. It is a luxury we can not afford to waste today when the government's education funding is still very tense. If we can not solve this problem efficient in long-term, it will affect our family's positive attitude on education investment, especially the rural households which the income was not high but the education spending was high, even has ultimate negative impact on economic development and social stability. After cited in the number of university graduates and the employment rate, described the difficult employment situation, the third chapter defines the conception of the college students, the unemployment and the college students' unemployment, divides the types of unemployment and sums up the characteristics of unemployment creatively in light of the present situation of China's university students.
