| Recent years, with the implement of enrollment-expanding policy in higher education, the total unemployment phenomenon of college students in our country is becoming more and more serious, which has drawn wide attention of social sectors.This paper firstly based on Keynes’ cycle model of total unemployment phenomenon of college students, combining the special nature of labor market for college students in our country to analyze the reason for the total unemployment phenomenon of college students. The primary reasons contain higher education’s high investment return, excessive subsidy for higher education, business experience discrimination and financial crisis. Among them, higher education’s high investment return means under the impact of officialdom standard thought, invest on higher education will also receive psychological satisfaction, raise of status and some other non-quantifiable invest return. Excessive subsidy for higher education refers to the situation that government’s subsidy for higher education exceeds external benefits of higher education. Business experience discrimination is the behavior that while recruiting staff, employing unit set some unreasonable requirements of minimum work experience, which will shut out the graduating students. The primary affect of financial crisis refers to the impact to China’s economy brought by the changing of international environment since sub-prime crisis during the year of2008. On this basis, this paper broaden the hypothesis of the traditional education invest model, which supposes that the education invest always leads to being employed, the new model uses expected anticipated return to substitute anticipated return and makes further analysis of the decision-making process of personal higher education investment on the condition of total unemployment. Besides, it is considered that it is the high difference of revenue stream of attending college or not that leads to the long-standing of total unemployment phenomenon of college students in our country. The total unemployment phenomenon of college students has affected the development of China’s economical society. Aiming to the causes, five countermeasures are proposed:decreasing higher education’s investment return, increasing non-higher education’s investment return, perfecting subsidy policy for higher education, standardizing employing policy of employing unit and responding to financial crisis positively. |
