Nowadays,personalized education whose aim is to make students develop harmoniously in all sides is receiving more and more attentions with the development of education reform. To students, it's an important period for their personalities from formation to mature during the course of their study in middle school. It's urgent and important to make students'personalities develop harmoniously and healthily by putting personalized education into practice in middle schools'teaching so that we can train and bring up successors with positive personalities for the future. So personalized education is the requirement of teaching reform, the need for students'developing and the demand for bringing up students with various personalities and creativities.But we have to know that it's still very weak in the theory research of personalized education in history teaching field; meanwhile there is still a lot of questions and difficulties in it. According to these factors, the essay attempts to widely probe personalized education in middle schools'history teachingThe essay is composed of the following parts.Part 1 General research of personality and personalized educationFirst, introduce different definitions of personality and its 5 features; second, set forth the author's views on personality and personalized education; third, the author offers the theoretical origin and foundation of personalized education; at last, point out the value of implementing personalized education.Part 2 Analyze the cause of the omitting of personalized education and the necessity of implementing it in middle school's history teaching.It's because the idea is constrained in ancient China so as to be reflected to the present time as well as the fetter of the traditional school education system.Part 3 The advantage and the distinguishing in middle school's history teaching. Historical figures'positive and rich personalities are a vast reservoir of resources to personalized education in middle school's history teaching. Using empathy can do well in the development of students'personalities.. Part 4 Put forward strategy of personalized education in middle school's history teaching. By the practice, the author put forward some effective ways and methods on personalized education. Such as, set up the idea of personalized education, change the relationships between teachers and students, implement project–based learning, reform the teaching evaluation.
