The reform in Chinese education in middle school is just unfolding. So the professional accomplishment of the teachers of Chinese in middle school is gradually becoming the key to the success in the reform in Chinese curriculum. In this people-centered era, the development of teachers'specialties is not only the internal requirement of the teachers but also the real need of the curriculum reform.To search the effective way to the development of Chinese teachers'specialties, this paper has made studies based on the teachers at home and abroad, especially the teachers of Chinese in Z city, Hebei province, using questionnaire, investigation and documentary study.The connotation of teacher's professional development is the important measurement to study the professional development of Chinese teacher in junior middle school. It mainly includes the three aspects: professional knowledge, professional competence, and educational belief. But the development of specialties also has its limitations, for example, the restriction of self-cognition and the limitation of many objective conditionsIn this investigation, it is found that the professional knowledge of Chinese teacher in junior middle school has experiences a shortage and ageing. Their practical knowledge is ignored.Their self-development knowledge is absent. Some of their educational and teaching competence need to be strengthened. The communicating and encouraging competence haven't been paid due attention. The educational belief is conservative. Simultaneity, the power performed by a lot of schools and even educational administrative departments in the progress of teachers'professional development especially the Chinese teachers is insufficient.According to the analysis, It points out that combining the school status with the individual station, perform teachers'professional career and actulize the school-based practice. School should create the good environment in order to accelerate Chinese teachers'specialties. Teacher should actively change the old concepts and program their professional career. Seize opportunities, think widely and use good accomplishment to accelerate self specialties development. Involved in school's culture, experimenting and accumulating, teachers can ultimately accomplish their development.
