Mate System. "unit In The Village"

Mate selection is a long-standing popularity of the subject in the field of family sociology. People always have strong interest that who will marry whom and hope to find a reasonable answer. However, regardless of in the Chinese society or in western society, whether in ancient society or modern society ,mate selection is not only as a personal thing, but people make the choice in a certain historical conditions and the social environment under the comprehensive variety of factors.After the founding of the PRC in recent decades, the most people of the Chinese city in a fairly long period are living in "unit". "unit" offers people from cradle to grave requirements, people have a variety of social relations in "unit" Now, "unit" syetem impact on the lives and social relations smaller. People's social relations, social interactions, family values have many great changes. This paper mainly research that the changes in family values in the "unit village" ,especially the change of mate selection.The railway sector in B City is a typical large-scale monopoly of state-owned enterprises. The author found in the daily life that in this large monopolies, people tend to choose their mates in their own system , that is to say, there is a relatively high proportion of inter-marriage. The author try to research this unique institution of mate selection embedded the field of this "unit", and to describe people's mate selection standards, mate selection ways, mate selection process in the "unit village" and the deep-seated reasons of such behaviour.This paper attempts to use habitus and field theory to explain mate selcction behaviours in this"unit village". In this article, people in the "unit village" in specific field, a long-term practice, forming a kind of mate selection institution suitable for the group system with the influence of habit. The institution is also impact people's mate selection behaviours significantly in a certain period .In conclusion part , the author think deeply the Chinese special circle, trust, reputation and think back to this research.
