The Study Of Females Postgraduate's Mate Selection Status During Social Transformation

The increase of female graduate students in universities in recent years witnesses the employment and marriage problems which are highly concerned by the society.Under the background of social transformation,female graduate students are influenced by many factors,such as traditional and modern concept,eastern and western culture.Those female graduate students who received higher education have their own original ideas and opinions.Similarly,every female graduate student has her own criteria on marriage.However,they haven't received much favor in the current marriage market.They are labeled as "needy" marriage,"leftover women","leftoverfighters"etc.The analysis of marriage problems of female graduate students has great significance,it is good for maintaining good social order,developing good college culture,promoting the development of the society and the female graduate students themselves.The author,based on the theory of social gender and related matching theory,constructs the analytical framework about female graduate students' marriage.In this paper,the author also conducts investigation and analysis about female graduate students'motivation,standard and scope of their spouse under the background of social transformation.By analysis,the author finds that the following problems exist during the matching process of female graduate students,namely,the confusion of value,the blindness;the excessive pursuit of Mr.Right etc;Based on the theory and the analysis,the author finds that there are many reasons.Firstly,the influence of tradition,which put women at low status in the marriage.Secondly,the interference of parents and the differences in values.Thirdly,the social utilitarian environment,severe employment pressure and the negative impact of social media etc.Fourthly,the less attention and guidance from universities.And some other reasons related to themselves.After detailed analysis,the author put forward relevant resolutions corresponding to problems at different levels,which aims at providing guidance for those female graduate students and helping them out of the embarrassing situation.Specifically speaking,the concept of gender equality should be set up to improve women' status in the society;more guidance about marriage should be given to female graduate students to build good atmosphere;communication should be strengthened in the family to gain the parents' understanding;and the female graduate students should relieve themselves and promote their personal development.In this paper,the author aims at providing a clear direction for the female graduate students,helping them out of the plight and wishing them have a better future.
