Textbooks as the materializing stuff are the material embodiment of the curriculum standard as well as the important resource and medium for teachers and students. This paper analyzes the senior high school book (published by People's Education Press), and compares with the textbook of Hong Kong. The aim is to sure whether our textbook satisfy the requirement of course standard and the international trend.The thesis study base it includes literature review and the construction of the model. The thesis summarizes the current situation of the high school chemistry textbook. It includes both domestic and international research on the textbook compiling, analysis and evaluation of textbooks and the compare on textbooks along with the requirement for textbook design under the curriculum standard. On this basis, the paper constructs the model of textbook analysis. This model includes three parts: choice of the content, organization of the content and the showing of the content. The paper has analyzed the system of the textbook, on the other hand, the paper has analyzed the concrete organization idea of the typical content, including basic chemical theories, elements and compounds, STS content, Process and methods content.The final conclusion is that, two sets of chemistry textbooks presents of the course standard that is improve the students' science accomplishment, present the humanity ideals, attention scientific investigation as method to study science; pays more attention to the link between science, technology, and society.
