Combined with theory, the article has probed into physical model in three aspects as follows:First: It has analyzed the thinking system of physical models. Second, it has pointed out that physical model plays an important role in developing students' logical thinking ability in the teaching process of physics. Third, the article also points out that the study of physical model has its positive effects in many aspects.According to the analysis of the present situations of the senior physical model teaching and according to the investigation and test for the level of mastery of physical model of senior students and the ability to apply physical model, we base a plan for experiments on the result of the investigation and test in accordance with the actual situation of teaching for the senior Grade three and choose some usually important methods, with which we carry out our teaching in different steps. We have achieved comparatively good teaching effects in raising students' cognition level, applying physical model and using physical model thinking pattern to undergo research and study. All these have showed that it is practicable to cultivate the thinking ability aimed at physical model in the knowledge-oriented of high schools. It is a good and effective way to cultivate students' good thinking quality and develop their creativity.
