With some problems such as a loose combination between game and knowledge and specialized discipline, currently domestic edutainment is far from perfection. Similarly, with the characteristics of less capacity of educational information and strong comprehension, comprehensive practical course is devalued as "an empty course "or "an alternative course". Therefore, with the analysis of edutainment and comprehensive practical course, the article makes an attempt to design edutainment in comprehensive practical course and looks for the balance of the combination between education and game, which undoubtedly will offers original thinking to edutainment design and new resources and methods to comprehensive practical course.In the first place, with a brief account of comprehensive practical course and edutainment, their relationship is explored, on the basis of which, the development of edutainment bearing comprehensive practical course proves to be feasible and significant.Moreover, with the theory discussed above and the exploration of edutainment of present situation domestic and abroad, the technological process of design is concluded considering related standards of software engineering.Then with the guidance of theoretical basis and designing thoughts of edutainment, designing scheme of edutainment bearing comprehensive practical courses is studied and explored through three aspects, that is, teaching design, model design and framework design of game.Lastly, with the guidance of those designing schemes,《Farmtasia》as an edutainment case is analyzed in the article.
