| College teachers play a very important role in educational cause and social work, at the same time, they bear some occupational stress. Moderate occupational stress has a positive impact on teachers' occupational development, but too much stress, which cannot be relieved, will lead to such problems as health, job burnout, and trigger off some occupational problems. This will affect the quality of the cultivated talents.Through the investigation of seven colleges in Anhui Province, the paper analyzes the existing situation of college teachers' occupational stress. Over 90% college teachers feel the occupational stress more or less; there exist occupational stress difference between male and female, but the difference is not big; college teachers of different age brackets have different occupational stress. Teachers who are advanced in age have bigger occupational stress; College teachers who have high diploma have more occupational stress; the occupational stress of different specialties has stress symptom.From the professional title, lecturers have the biggest stress, assistants have smallest stress; teachers of different teaching age have different occupational stress, teachers of 16-20 years' teaching age have the biggest stress, while teachers of 1-5 years' teaching age have the smallest stress. College teachers of different work have different occupational stress; the deans of teaching and research section bear the biggest stress. College teachers' occupational stress come from teaching, interpersonal relationship, finance, assessment, appointment, professional development, scientific research and professional title, in addition to social and personal elements.In light of the existing situation, resources and main characteristics of college teachers'occupational stress, in order to avoid the negative effect on teachers, students and society the paper presents the specific countermeasures to relieve the occupational stress from the point of view of colleges, society and teachers. |
