With the acceleration of the pace of people's life and work, the occupational stress increasing. At the beginning of the 20th century, the occupational stress gradually became the important research objects of disciplines such as psychology, medical science, management and sociology, etc. In recent years, the occupational stress of college teachers has greatly improved than a decade ago, because of the complexity of work, the increasing of workload, the intricacy of performance appraisal. The occupational stress has had a significant impact on their performance, health and stable development of the campus. Therefore, the significance of scientific research has been enhanced. So it is imperative that the work stress management has to be carried out.The dissertation selected the teachers in Shaanxi province as the samples to carry out the empirical studies, which the relative performance of job stress are highlighted because of the focus of colleges and universities and the backward economic development. First of all, according to the requirement of the research, the dissertation determines the relevant variables, and establishes the basic construct and hypotheses, with summarizing the relevant past research adequately. Based on deep discussion, the dissertation designs a corresponding questionnaire which is to be continuously modified with being tested time after time. Then the dissertation makes a case survey on College teachers. Use descriptive statistics, factor analysis, correlation analysis and other analytical methods to verify the assumption: (1) The factors that impact the job stress of teachers colleges and universities is multi-dimensional. (2) The job stress of teachers are significantly correlated with the working performance. (3) Perceived Organizational Support has a significant buffer between the occupational stress and working performance.Expect to learn more about the work pressure of college teachers and the relationship between job performances from this study, put forward some suggestions to mitigate the stress and improve the performance from the perspective of organizational management of colleges and universities.
