Recently, the combination of high education occurred in many countries. In order to achieve economy of scale and improve the status of Chinese high education in the international education market, China is carrying out the combination of high education in a big way, many colleges and universities are involved in this activity. This is the biggest combination of high education in the history of China.But many problems emerged during the process of combination, so some scholars analyze the process of this combination, try to translate the reasons and solve the problems. But no one has established an entire analytical frame from economics views.This article has an established a more entire analytical frame from economics views, and has analyzed the effects of this combination. Through the analysis, this article put forward several positive effects of this combination, for example, economy of scale, optimization of resource allocation, complementary cooperative effect and so on. This article also analyzed the factors which can affect these positive effects to be achieved, for example, different cultures, different interests, different locations, behaviors of the government and so on. This article proposed some suggestions on how to achieve the positive effects from the combination of high education.
