Both the traditional intellectual theory and cognitive development theory consider that intelligence is a kind of integrated ability, the core which is competence and mathematical logic ability. Under this influence of intelligence view, the important point of education in school is to train students in language ability and mathematical logic, and the role of education lies in making the child get high marks as possible as he can. The education, under this one-sided theory instruction has unitary course, the same tempo and requirement, fixed examination and judgment, overlooking the student's personality difference, depriving the main body of students and creativity, seriously restricting the students'individual development. And this goes against the essence that education prompts the people to develop all-round and urgent requirement that information times ask for original talents.Over the last 20 years, on the basis of criticism of traditional intelligence theory, many psychologists put forward that a person has several kinds of intelligence, which exists by itself but has a close link with concrete cognitive field or knowledge category. One of them is Howard Gardner, the famous psychologist and educator in Haford thinks that a person's intelligence is made up of verbal intelligence, mathematical logical intelligence, bodily-kinesthetic intelligence, musical intelligence, visual spatial intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, and intrapersonal intelligence. In his opinion, each student has eight kinds of intelligence as listed before to some different extent and the different combinations of intelligence reveal the difference of individual intelligence. The starting point of education doesn't lie in how the original intelligent the child is, but how and where can he be made to be clever.According to Gardner's intelligence theory, each child is unique, with his strong point of intelligence and study style. If the school take the students'individual difference into account, and teach with different special method to the large extent, education will have the largest effect. Based on the Theory of Multiple Intelligence for personalized teaching, Gardner considers that there is no uniform model and standards to follow. So it's not realistic and sensible to make out exactly implementation of a multi-intellectual development of child care programmes.We just give a rough description of outline of this plan according to intelligence theory itself and practice of child education. This study mainly from classroom teaching strategies, curricula, learning style, the project study, the true evaluation of intelligence and discusses integration with the possibility of multiple intelligence and methods, in order to carry out the teaching research of special method used to teach child.The essay includes four parts: The fist chapter is the reason why I choose this subject,the literature review and the significant of the research and ways of my research.Secondly, the reason of personalized teaching is expounded on the base of multiple intelligences. Thirdly, the strategies of child personalized teaching is expounded on the base of the multiple intelligences.Finally, it is conclusion.pointing out the existed problem and direction for the further study.
