This study was based on the theory of multiple intelligences, art students geography teaching as the carrier, USES the questionnaire survey, classroom observation method,interview method,case analysis research method,etc. Through the investigation,analyzes the problems existing in the art students to study in geography. On the basis of practice,the paper discusses the theory of multiple intelligences in the application of the geographical teaching art students.The first part: On multiple intelligences theory in the field of education, described the research background,significance,research status,is a synthesis of multiple intelligences theory,research methods and technical route.The second part: Yantai art school in the practice of the findings,based on research and analysis of the current situation of geography teaching arts for art students in geography learning problems analysis of its causes.The third part: Construction of "Multiple Intelligences features" guided by art students learning geography strategy, the experimental teaching, attached to the case. Provide theoretical guidance and reference policies in science and art students for their own learning and geography to geography teacher’s artistic life and scientific guidance for the geo-learning options.The fourth part: Experimental teaching effect comparative analysis,comparing academic achievement and learning psychological quality of two-year students, found that multiple intelligences theory as a guide geography learning strategy is effective. Their academic learning and psychological quality greatly improved.The fifth part: Experiments show that the experimental class taken as a guide to the theory of multiple intelligences geography learning strategy is effective for improving high school art students’ psychological quality of students’ learning geography and academic performance of some help. The findings of other vocational school art students to learn geography will have some reference value.
