Anyone who has ever used the internet will notice that he not only touched the technology, but also a newly surviving way, and the online interpersonal communication is gradually becoming a important channel for modern social communication.In our country, when one turns into a college student, it means he or she is also a net-surfer. Browsing the Internet is available for the college student. The interpersonal communications of college student happen almost on campus due to their energy and experience. However, as the number of Internet socializer is increased, the online activities have a great influence on college life.The author will take the Xi'an as the example since it has a lot of different level colleges, both public and private; as well as post-secondary, undergraduate, graduate students of different levels of education.The paper will start from the practical function of Internet. In the previous of real name system, the author makes a questionnaire on the basis of xiannei.com to investigate the usage of the Internet in Xi'an city.According to the analysis, the situation of Xi'an college student's online interpersonal communication is as follows: the number of Interpersonal network scale vary from10 to 60; interpersonal circles occur in the core; interpersonal communication shows a trend of true and local character; network relationships is an extension and development of the reality; network interpersonal socialization has a significant impact on individuals. Internet real-name system helps reduce "virtual" components of interpersonal network and has a positive significance to develop an integrity character.
