At the present stage,it is very important to make full use of the discussion method to carry on the teaching,which accords with the needs of the ideological and political teaching in senior high school.It is beneficial to give play to the moral education function of the ideological and political course and to emphasize the studentsundefined main position.While practicing in the experimental school affiliated to Guangzhou University,the author found that there were some problems in the application of the discussion method in the ideological and political class,and could not give full play to the actual effect of the discussion method.Therefore,the author conducted an interview with the teachers in this school and conducted a questionnaire survey.This paper discusses the application of the discussion method of ideological and political course.At present,the practical research on that is still relatively weak.The purpose of this paper is to study the application of discussion method in high school ideological and political course.This paper analyzes the problems and reasons existing in that,and puts forward the optimization strategy.This paper is divided into four parts.Firstly,it introduces the overview of the discussion method,including the definition,main characteristics,theoretical basis and application significance of the discussion method.The second part discusses the problems existing in the teaching of ideological and political course,including the big difference in the studentsundefined participation,the lack of grasp of the time,the lack of wit in the special situation,and the weak link of summing up the evaluation.The third part analyzes the causes of the problems existing in the application of the discussion method in the teaching of ideological and political lessons from different subjects,including the following aspects:the teachersundefined discussion and application skills need to be improved,the studentsundefined preparation in advance is not sufficient,and the educational environment does not meet the discussion needs.The fourth part puts forward the optimization strategy of the discussion method applied in the ideological and political teaching according to the different teaching environment,including carefully designing the topic,helping the students to fully prepare,strengthening the organization and regulation,and summarizing the evaluation in time.
