Logical scientific school work quality evaluation index system for ordinary high schools is not only the essential tool for educational administrative management department to inspect the school work quality, but also the guideline to improve the school work quality. At present, the new course reform is in practising. A new index system must be built because of defects in the old ones existed now.The new index system is built through practical research on the base of rational analysis. Under the requirement of establishment of "developing students' school work evaluation system", which is brought forward in new course reform, the article first analyses the theoretical foundation, gist and principle of establishment of index system, and also use benefit experience of international related programs as reference, then form the frame of school work quality evaluation index system. According to this, the article analyses the problems of school work quality evaluation index system for ordinary high schools existed now, finds out improved suggestions and collects related information through colloquia and questionnaire, and then uses principal component analyzing method to give index scales through their proportion after unitary disposal; therefore forms new evaluation index system and finishes the improvement of old one. At the end of article, the writer puts forward some suggestions about applying of new evaluation index system and from here several thoughts are caused.The new evaluation index system is composed of two parts. The first part is school work quality inspection index system for ordinary high schools, includes three primary indexes: school work quality, amplitude situation of school work quality, and school work dissemination degree now; and their proportion are respective 0.43, 0.39, 0.18. The evaluation of school work quality inspection is obtained through these 3 primary indexes, and expresses by scales. The second part is school work quality influencing factors index system for ordinary high school, includes seven primary indexes: learning diathesis of students, teaching ability of teachers, relationship between students and their parents, inside and outside atmosphere of school, diathesis of teachers' team, general diathesis of leaders and teaching course management of school; their proportion are respective 0.57, 0.12, 0.10, 0.06, 0.06, 0.05, 0.04. According to this, start the questionnaire investigation in teachers, parents and students, and then through average of different investigations obtain the valuation result after 100 credits disposal. At last endue grades to each primary index following credits enduing standard.
