| In the 21st century,people have a strong sense of the social influence that the technical invention,innovation and the improvement brought.In order to keep the pace with the development of the society or keep the society moving forward,schools have the responsibility to cultivate the student with high-tech capability,or at least let them understand the technology. This paper explored the reform and the development of technology education in England,with the hope of providing valuable reference for the reform of technology education in China.This paper was divided into four parts:The first part introduced the background of this study,defined the relevant definition and pointed out the theoretical and practical significance of this study.The second part analyzed the background of the reform of the technology education in England.This analysis was done from two aspects:one was from the international aspect and the other one was from the domestic aspect.The international background included the reform and development of technology education in Nordic countries,Germany and the United States.And the domestic background included the development of technology education in England,and the influence which was brought by the modern technology and social economy.The third part explored the reform and development of technology education in British primary and secondary schools in the recent 20 years.This paper analyzed the reform of technology education in England from the year 1988 to 2008 from the following aspects:the conception of making the policy,the national curriculum,the assessment method and the cultivation of teachers.And also,it studied the effect of implementation.The final part concluded enlightenment that the reform and development of technology education in British primary and secondary schools brought to our country.First,this paper reflected the problems that exist in the technology education in China,and then it provided some advice to the reform and trends of our country's technology education. |
