It has been a long time since China implemented the eighth curriculum reform in 2001.After Shaanxi Province employed the new curriculum reform in 2007,many primary and secondary schools around the province have explored and practiced the curriculum reform getting numerous outcomes.However,the focus of this article is that how has the information technology curriculum reformed during the implementation of the new curriculum reform.The article shows the understanding of the current situation and the specific measurements of information technology curriculum reform and provides practical experience for the reform of school education reform especially for the reform of information technology courses.At the same time,the article also can provide references for future studies.The article employs multiple research methods such as literature review,qualitative research and quantitative research associating with questionnaires to collect first-hand information related to the information technology curriculum reform in the school in order that the current situation of information technology curriculum with the new curriculum reform background could be understood.The article includes five parts:Chapter one,the Introduction.The reason and main research background of the problem are described in this part along with the purpose and significance of the research.Also,the main contents and research methods of the research are included.The second chapter is a literature review of the curriculum reform.This part includes two aspects:an overview of the curriculum reform and a review of current research on information technology curriculum reform.The third chapter is a study of the current situation of information technology curriculum reform in middle schools.The article introduces in detail about the three aspects which are teaching mode,teaching design and teaching evaluation of the information technology curriculum reform implemented by the school,makes relevant analysis and evaluation for the current situation of curriculum reform,and conducts a case study of information technology curriculum reform.The fourth chapter analyzes the survey results of the implementation of information technology curriculum reform.The content of this chapter is mainly resulted from the data collected from the teachers who are responsible for information technology curriculum and their students combining with teaching observations and interviews in order to understand the attitudes of teachers and students of information technology curriculum towards reform.And the chapter gives suggestions and solutions towards the problems emerging during the curriculum reform.Chapter five is the conclusion and expectation part.It mainly concludes the research results and expect that the reform of information technology curriculum can be promoted in middle schools in the future.
