As the era of dialogue education coming, it implies the advocating the equal and democratic interpersonal relationship, respecting the differentiation, encouraging the uniqueness, and upholding the individual initiative; at the same time it also implies that the teachers should update their concept of the teaching and their own authority. Now there is a debate about the following questions: is it necessity the existence of the teachers' authority; or in which way does the authority appear in the area of education; how does the new teachers' authority establish; what is the theory of the teachers' authority.Upon the instruction of the conception of education, it requires to build the equal relationship with teachers and students, to emphasize function of the initiative for the students and function of the instruction for the teachers. However, it can not deny the authority of teachers. The authority of teachers is necessary based on theory or the practice. That is requirement for the teaching activity and that are also the extremely important function for the good relationship between teachers and students, and the effective and efficient teaching activities. Therefore, based on the reflection and the criticism the traditional teachers' authority, it is necessary to establish the new authority of teachers in the time of the dialogue education.Based on the existed the documents, this article builds the theoretical framework of the authority of teachers to help us correctly understanding the concept of teacher authority. Through the analysis the challenges that the traditional authority of teachers faces, and conclusion the characters that the new authority of teachers possesses, that would help the public, the society as well as the teachers themselves to improve the educational ideology, and to converse the concept of the authority. Therefore, the role of the teachers can be oriented newly. Through the establishing the new authority of the teachers, the inspiration can be given to the teachers of the dialogue education. The author believes that, under the dialogue education, the rebuilding of the teachers' authority can help to improve the educational quality and can approach the real educational democracy.The first part of this article, the introduction, introduces the origin and the meaning of the research in this area, and comment the exited research. The first chapter, focused on the historical retrospection for the authority theory, is the logical starting for this research. The authority of teachers is the concentrated expression of educational authority in the educational area, however, it also one of the different authorities. Therefore the basic of the research is to grasp the meaning of the authority of teachers through the retrospection the theory of the authorities.Chapter two, focused on the background of the dialogue education, carefully analyzes the challenges for the authority of teachers. The disappeartion or dissimilation of the authority of teachers, actually brings forward an comprehensive and profound the requirement for the authority of teachers. Both the dictatorial and the laissez-faire authority of teachers can not meet the need of the democracy and equality in this modern time. The new kind of the authority of teachers should be established imperatively.In chapter three, the authority of teachers is theoretical researched comprehensively and systematically. The main content is the discussion for the rationality of the existence of the teachers' authority. This research analyzes the necessity and feasibility of the existence of the authority of the teachers and states the significance and character of the reasonable authority of the teachers.Chapter four is focused on how to build the reasonable authority of teachers during the dialogue education. It discusses from the external security of the establishing the authority, the teacher's internal feeling and soul, the right concept of the authority by the teachers them selves, and the conversion the role. All of those are the academic reference for the teachers and educators.
