With a new round of curriculum reform as well as carrying out "the new high school mathematics curriculum standards (experimental)" ,mathematics curriculum aim had changed , and then mathematics teaching book had changed. Because solid geometry and analytic geometry are basic contents of senior high school math, it is very important to study the content of geometry teaching books under curricula standard and teaching outline. This study will help us understand the orientation of geometry teaching and exert the advantages of new teaching books.Literature analytical method and comparison study method are adopted in this paper. The new curricula innovation's influence in geometry is studied through analyze and comparison the difference between new and old geometry teaching books. This paper will analyze and compare teaching books in five aspects: teaching content,knowledge arrange,present mode,examples and exercises. Understand the change of senior high school geometry orientation, the difference of geometry content disposal fashion and whether the geometry teaching fashion does accord with new curriculum idea.This paper makes a conclusion through five aspects comparison of new and old teaching book:1. In teaching content, the new teaching book pays more attention to intuitive geometric teaching in solid geometry; Analytic geometry pays more attention to the idea of using algebry method to solute geometric question. The old teaching book pay more attention to deductive reasoning geometric teaching. Analytic geometry only pays attention to algebra ,and ignores geometric analysis.2. In the arrangement of knowledge, solid geometry of the new teaching book has been spread from whole to part, Analytic geometry of the new teaching book strengthens algebra,geometry of the complementary knowledge. Solid geometry of the old teaching book has been spread from part to whole; Analytic geometry of the old teaching book strengthens algebra and removes geometry.3. In present mode, the new teaching book shows agility and multiplicity, stands out book structure in question model. The old teaching book shows too singleness. Students command knowledge in injecting mode.4. Examples of the new teaching book stand out synthesize and recede difficulty. Examples of the old book have characteristic of numerous-difficult-strange and phenomenon of repeat apply knowledge.5.The new teaching book pays attention to the relation of book knowledge and practicality life, and adds exploration and impersonality example. The old book absences the relation of book knowledge and practicality life. The mode of example is blankness and old.This paper in the last chapter points out questions lying in practice for math teacher, also brings forward some suggestions.
