Appreciation education in museums has been performing for hundreds of years.However, a suitable educational way for children to appreciate arts in museum is still under discovery. In this paper,the discussion on "conversation" in art museum appreciation education is an echo to the application of philosophy in education field.As an important theoretical and practical problem,conversation has been attached great attention theoretically and practically in museum education field.From conversation in education method to conversation in the educational way of thinking,the connotation of educational conversation has been continually extended.From a philosophical hermeneutics angle,every kind of dialogue relationship within educational field in art museum has been examined,and the deeper meaning of museum appreciation education conversation has been analyzed in this paper.Appreciation education in art museum is no longer an abstract concept or theory,but a rich and meaningful conversational field.In this field,teacher's question is the key to the conversational appreciation education.As the participant,the experiencer and the possessor of more culture capital,museum teachers are bearing the basic meaning and value of appreciation education of art museums.However,they still have many obstacles and barriers with conversation education.How to make teachers master the conversation way of education? What kind of question should be raised to join the work's information with children's individual experience? How to arouse children's enthusiasm on thinking and make them have the conscious of self-learn and form a creative and critical way of thinking? How should museum teachers develop and improve their question skills and regard conversation teaching process as their learning process? All those questions contribute challenges for museum teachers in their practice process.The full paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is an interpretation to the ontology of conversation.The meaning of conversation is analyzed from an etymological prospect and the western philosophy on conversation theory is also introduced and analyzed.The position of conversation to be researched in this paper is proposed on this basis.The second chapter is on the researches to the conversation appreciation teaching in art museums.Based on the discussion on children's understanding to art in different ages, details on how to teach in a conversational way,how to raise effective questions and how to promote teacher's teaching abilities are discussed.Chapter three is on the case design and practical analysis of conversation appreciation teaching.Chapter four is a rational questioning to this research.It is hoped that through researches on the conversational appreciation teaching in art museums,the significance of conversation education to spiritual construction between teachers and students could be found out.The appreciation and interpretation to art works during the conversational process must be based on a level of understanding.Therefore,the aim of conversational appreciation education in art museum lies in the understanding and spiritual construction.
