Compared with the content and form of other courses, chemical experiments play an irreplaceable role in the revolution of new courses, especially in the teaching activities. Not only is chemical experiment the specific of scientific inquiry, the most common and main research activities and the important way to implement the goals of scientific literacy in chemical teaching, but also it is a concrete manifestation of the concept of the chemical teaching based on the experiment.Related the function and significance of chemical experiments, there are still gaps and deficiencies to some extant in the present secondary school chemical teaching activities, especially in the evaluation. The reason why students' performance doesn't draw much attention is that teachers are mainly based on written examinations and experimental operations in the forms and methods of revolution. It should be encouraged to explore how to teach, ongoing revolution of new curriculum, and evaluate by the process and the methods students show. Therefore, we can see that it is an important topic in the current secondary school chemical education research that how to explore the new methods of evaluation, and give full play to the main body of the evaluation of students, make a better evaluation in the aspects of the course of chemical experiments, the scientific inquiry ability and the emotional aspects of values.Scene observation and worksheet are used as the most effective way of evaluation of the capability of scientific research; however, the high cost of field observations is not suitable for large-scale use and the Chinese Scientific Inquiry assessment under the circumstances of the amount of large classes. Compared with the methods of the observation, the operating cost of the worksheet is much lower than the observation, though the worksheet is more effective than that. For instance, a teacher can monitor students in a class, which also correspond the China's basic national conditions. As a result, this research will develop a suitable worksheet-based experimental inquiry ability of evaluation system.First of all, this research constructed a worksheet-based experimental inquiry ability of evaluation system, according to a Primary Trait Analysis (PAT), the summary of existing research and the combination of the interviews of experts and scholars, which joined the elements of the system of self-evaluation of students. Level indicators which includes five essential factors are the ability to discover and put forward questions, the ability of conjecture and assumptions, the ability of designing experiments, the ability to observe and experiment, the ability to reflect and analysis, and then further refining these five elements, identifying the impact of elements of the capacity of each indicator as the secondary indicators, the evaluation index system formed.Secondly, after measured the reliability and validity of a survey questionnaire which is about the importance of the capacity indicator of the index system, weights of the various indicators are determined in the use of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), so does the chemical worksheet-based experiment to explore the capacity of index weight system.Finally, a secondary school of 97 students have been measured to assess the chemical experiments scientific inquiry abilities with the evaluation system which is completed. From the revolution, we established the worksheet which played a leading role, and analyzed the survey results, tested the feasibility of the evaluation system.At the same time, we also found that there are many problems in the course of the study, such as evaluation index design, evaluation of the questionnaire issued by the difference between objects, the representation of people who have taken the evaluation in the empirical research and so on. Those all can do further research.Done in this study can be summarized as follows: not only is a worksheet-based experimental inquiry ability of evaluation system set up and the weight system about evaluation created by means of questionnaire, but also students have been measured to assess the chemical experiments scientific inquiry abilities on Self-made worksheet and the feasibility of the evaluation system has been tested.This article is divided into five sections:Chapter 1. Introduction. Come up with questions and sum up research status of the assessment which is about chemical experiments scientific inquiry abilities to illustrate the function and significance of the study.Chapter 2. The Establishment of Evaluation System about Chemical Experimental Inquiry Ability. The research elaborates the function of this index system, the idea and principles of designing. The complete experimental inquiry ability of evaluation index system also established through the analysis of each indicators in the system.Chapter 3. The Establishment of the Weight System to Explore the Chemical Experimental Ability. Via putting out questionnaire to the experts, scholars and teachers in first-line and on the basis of the survey questionnaire, the weight system to explore the chemical experimental capacity is established in the use of AHP.Chapter 4. Empirical Analysis. Students have been measured to assess the chemical experiments scientific inquiry abilities on Self-made assessment sheets and the efficiency and feasibility of the evaluation system also has been tested.Chapter 5. Conclusion and Discussion. Reflect the overall process of the research and identify the further research directions against the problems in the courses of the study.
