During urbanization, many adults go to the developed areas to look for a better job. And the learning adaptability of their children should be paid some attention .332 sixth-year students (Native student, Out-of-town student, 'Immigratory' student) in suburbs were investigated with The Learning Adaptability and The Children's Family Condition Questionnaire. The results showed that:1. The learning adaptability of the students in grade 6 was in normal condition.2. Gender difference hits the significant level in learning adaptability. Boys met more problems than the girls .3. There were certain significant difference of learning adaptability level, among the students whose family condition were different: The more strict the parents were, the higher the level was. The students that could get help had higher level than those who could not get help. But whether the parents got divorced did not make significant difference in childrens' learning adaptability .4. 'Immigratory' students have the highest level. Out-of-town students have a lower level, whose level in learning attitude and learning environment is the lowest. Native students also had lower level, whose level in learning strategy and health condition is the lowest.5. Academic achievement had certain correlation with the learning adaptability. But English achievement had no correlation with the test ways. English and Chinese achievements had no correlation the school surrounding.
