| Classical Chinese teaching which is a difficult problem that can't be overcome is a dead space of Chinese teaching reform at all times. It is not effective and its actuality is still worring. A lot of teachers and researchers are aware that the classical Chinese reform must go ahead, but we are still exploring how to break the actuality to find the right way. With the popularity of sinology, people began to pay attention to the traditional culture and classical Chinese. Also intelligentsia has new ideas of them. We could find that classical Chinese is still alive if we seriously consider and observe. It just shows some new quality which like old tree grows new leaves. The existence of classical Chinese in our day life gives us a new perspective to realize classical Chinese and classical Chinese teaching, also it brings a new enlightenment to classical Chinese teaching reform.This thesis points out the need for the existence of classical Chinese in modern society and explains the characteristics that classical Chinese can't be replaced by colloquialism through the analysis of the existence of classical Chinese. This part sets out the value of classical Chinese teaching including stepping up societal culture connotation, agglomerating and uniting Chinese nation, being benefit to international communion in societal requirement, and training transformational ability, improving competitive ability of student. Third, it is about the present situation and disadvantage of classical Chinese teaching. This part has investigated and analyzed the contradiction between the purpose and the reality of classical Chinese teaching which caused the disadvantage. Fourth, the existence of classical Chinese gives enlightenment to the classical Chinese teaching reform. It supplies the thoughts and methods to solve problems which appear in the reform of classical Chinese teaching. At last the value of classical Chinese teaching is carried out. The conclusion points out the research space that this subject can expand and its research meaning.This thesis realizes classical Chinese based on the perspective of the existence of classical Chinese.
