Guided by the employment-oriented thought, secondary vocational education is part of the vocational education, in which the qualified laborers are trained to meet the needs of society. Mathematics, as a basic course, serves the quality education and employment-education and therefore, the employment-oriented thought should be carried out during the teaching.Secondary vocational mathematics curriculum, which is highly functional, is the basis for the students to learn other basic professional courses and professional courses. However, Secondary vocational mathematics research faces the following problems: students with different levels can not get the corresponding development; the mathematics teaching, which is considered as the simplified the high school teaching, is totally separated from the majors; the textbooks lack the characteristics of the vocational school. The vocational school students who are highly practical with definite purposes to work have witnessed the great difference between the reality and the dreams.According to the characteristics of secondary vocational mathematics and Cognitive characteristics of the students, the paper adopts the Behavior Research method and has chosen the three cases to study which are the cooking, the financial affairs and the business management. It aims to establish a link between mathematical knowledge and expertise, and study the application of mathematics in professional learning.The cases in this project are all adapted from the applied mathematics problems in which the students are interested on the premise that students already have the expertise and knowledge of mathematics. The research emphasizes the extension of mathematical knowledge in the professional courses, achieves the comprehensive reorganization of mathematical knowledge and expertise, and then upgrades the application of mathematics in professional learningAdopting the task-driven form, the study enables the teachers design a series of the tasks based on the targets and the actual situation by organizing the students to study systematically. The study is not only the form of education but also a supplement to the normal mathematics teaching.The paper studies the procedure of the task-based study and explores its characteristics and strategy by practice, in order to enable the students to apply mathematical knowledge to the professional courses, stimulate their desire and interest to learn mathematics, and arouse their consciousness of practice, which will help to promote the professional study and improve their social abilities.
